About Me

Hi, I’m Hamza Farooq, a passionate and creative Film and TV Production student at the University of Greenwich. With a strong foundation in video editing, cinematography, and storytelling, I thrive on bringing ideas to life through visual media.

My journey in filmmaking began with a love for storytelling and technology, which led me to pursue a UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology. Now, as I work towards my BA (Hons) in Film and TV Production, I’ve honed my skills in video editing, sound design, and camera operation, while also exploring scriptwriting and directing.

I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from short films and documentaries to gaming content for YouTube. Each project has allowed me to experiment with different styles, techniques, and tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. I’m particularly passionate about creating engaging narratives and using visual effects to enhance storytelling.

When I’m not behind the camera or editing, I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. I’ve volunteered as a teaching assistant, where I developed lesson plans and used multimedia tools to make learning interactive and fun.

I’m always looking for new opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow in the film and TV industry. If you’d like to work together or just chat about filmmaking, feel free to reach out!
